Ahhh where do I start with this dish. I still remember the first time I ate it. It was in Capri and I was intrigued by the meat and onion sauce on an island where we eat mostly seafood. The explosion of sweet onion-y flavor in my mouth was unlike any pasta dish I had ever tried. Part of the beauty of travel is being introduced to new flavors and foods, but seeing as we had been coming to Capri for about 13-14 years at this point, I didn’t think new mind blowing flavors were still waiting for me on this special island. How wrong I was….
