That delicious butter is available from many other gourmet food outlets without a $41 shipping fee. It's certainly an expensive butter, but not worth that shipping charge. I hope people google other options so they can try it!
Thanks for the posting of this recipe, I’m always on the lookout for a fun and delicious new way to eat eggs! Lol, I also missed their debut during the pandemic!
On a side note a few days ago I ordered a jar of the Sicilian tomato paste that you recommended in a recent post. After you returned home from your trip and after your comments and pics of the STP from the markets that you visited I began my own search to find some here in the states. I found one that is fantastic but obviously I have no true point of reference since I wasn’t along on your trip but oh my it’s so good and soooooo much better than anything I’ve ever used. It’s Tudia i sughi siciliani l’estratto tomato paste and it’s about $11 for a 7.5 oz. jar. I am anxious to get the new one that you recommended and compare them. If the one I found is comparable it would be a less expensive option. If you’re interested I’m happy to give you my honest opinion.
PianoGrillo also makes beautiful olive oil (and possibly wine) imported by @gustiamo , available @pastaioviacorta in Gloucester MA, along with the most insanely healthy and tasty fresh pasta made with whole, stone ground locally grown ancient grains. YUM!!
I made this. It was so easy and so delicious. I will definitely be making it again.
I will try it too
