How Have I Gone my Whole Life without this Chicken dish?
A Georgian Dish called Chkmeruli that Garlic Lovers will Swoon over
One of my favorite things about social media is connecting with people from all over the world. I had heard about Georgian cooking (the country not the state) and one of my followers told me that I had to make this dish. I don’t know a ton about Georgia but I do know that it’s a post Soviet state that shares borders with Russia, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Turkey and is one of the birth places of wine making. Therefore, I am not surprised that their food is incredible.
This dish is so simple that it almost beggars belief that it’s this good. I have made many chicken dishes with garlic but this one is different. The garlic is way punchier than a French dish and any garlic lover will fall in love with it. I love this for a week night as it’s fast and easy yet still feels like you are eating something special. You will be tempted to add wine or maybe an acid, but don’t. I promise you it doesn’t need anything.
